Eastern Iowa Airport will be replacing some of their snow removal equipment fleet with new equipment purchased from Trans Iowa Equipment. The purchase was recently featured in an article published in The Gazette (Cedar Rapids, IA). To read the full story, click here.
The airport will be adding two new Oshkosh snow plows with tow behind brooms, which will replace a 1994 Oshkosh plow as well as a 2000 Stewart Stevenson tow plow. The airport is also purchasing replacement parts to keep on hand. Part of their purchase decision was based on the difficulty they had with getting replacement parts for the Stevenson plow, and with the new plows they’ll be able to get parts much easier from Trans Iowa Equipment.
