ELGIN STREET SWEEPER TRAINING

Elgin Street Sweeper Training will cover fundamental and advanced operation of the Elgin sweepers. Training will cover electrical systems, hydrostatic drive systems, conveyor systems, broom settings/selection, daily care and maintenance and recommended drive speeds and settings. This is a great refresher course for experienced operators, or introductory course for new owners and operators. Most of the course will be classroom-style, with the opportunity for live demonstration and hands-on interaction at the end. We will off two types of sweeper training:

 

THREE-WHEEL MECHANICAL SWEEPERS (Elgin Pelican NP 2007-current)

2.5 Hour Class • 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM

 

 

 

VACTOR SEWER TRAINING

This 3 hour course will cover all components of the Vactor 2100 sewer cleaner. Instruction will cover differences between the Fan and PD styles, as well as address differences between older and new models. Training includes operation, daily and preventative maintenance, best practices and common mistakes many operators make. This is a great refresher course for experienced operators, or introductory course for new owners and operators. Most of the course will be classroom-style, with the opportunity for live demonstration and hands-on interaction at the end.

VACTOR 2100 PLUS 

3 Hour Class • 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Locations: ALL

Wastewater training will be eligible for continuing education credit hours through the applicable state agency.

Registration Required:  $25 /person

Maximum 50 attendees allowed per location. Registration accepted on first come, first serve basis. Registration must be completed online through Eventbrite webpage and is due one week prior to event date.
